Happy 2022
It's a New Day, a New Month, and it's a NEW YEAR. I want to wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR. I hope your holidays were filled with health, happiness and everything bright and beautiful.
One thing we all can come together and relate with and talk about, is setting goals. Especially right now with a New Year. This is when we feel the most motivated and confident. That's why I'm here right now. I'm here to help you keep that spark going so that you can accomplish and reach your goals.
First, I highly recommend you have an agenda or calendar that you can write down even the smallest notes in. On day one (which is today) write down ALL your goals. Whether they're todays, or for a month from now, a year from now, or even your life goals. Write it all down and also write down next to each one an approximate time frame. If they're within the year, then write them on the dates you want to have them achieved by. I always make those days look a little extra. I'll add stickers, or star those dates.
Depending on the goals you have, you also want to make a few steps to help you get to where you're going a lot easier. For example, if you want to lose 20 lbs in 6 months, maybe write down how long it'll take you to lose 5 lbs, and go from there. If you want to read 100 books in the year, write down how many you'll read each week. Etc Etc.
Another thing I always find helpful, is having a friend to do this with. They don't necessarily have to have the same goals, but it's nice if they have ANY goal so that you an motivate each other and keep one another accountable. Talking with others also helps. It keeps you fired up about your goals and it makes others more supportive and accepting of your goals. When I decided to compete in a bikini competition, it made it so much easier and attainable when I told others what I was doing. They asked me questions about the process, and were good about helping me stay on track.
Included in every newsletter, which are monthly, I will be including a new monthly fitness challenge! These are for YOU to complete if you want to at your own pace! They will help you get stronger and challenge your body every day.
Some of the goals I have for this year are to (1) Move every day. With the cold we have here, it can be so hard to do anything. I find that even playing games and being active with my boys is good enough for a quick little workout. (2) Work on my business. I have been working on getting this business of mine started for a while, and I'm finally starting it. I am so grateful that you are here with me, reading my very first newsletter.
